Delicate red cherry colour. Fine and persistent bubbles, aromas of red fruit, strawberries, cherries and woodland fruits with hints of green apple. On the palate, it is elegant and light. Well balanced between acidity and sweetness with a refreshing finish.

Cava is a Spanish sparkling wine made by a traditional method. It was formerly called Champaña, but in the Seventies it was rechristened “Cava" (Spanish for “cellar").
What most of us think we know about Cava - that it's the sparkling wine for which gyropallet was invented - is false. Cava is the first traditional-method sparkling wine documented to have undergone remuage using gyropallet, which - for the record - is a machine invented by two French wine producers.Winemakers in Champagne went on making remuage by hand, one bottle at a time, while the renowned Spanish Cava producer Codorníu introduced the innovation in his winemaking process, indissolubly binding the name of this system to the name of his wine.
