The Vini Tonon winery, owner of the Camúl brand, is located in Vittorio Veneto, in a strategic area of the Triveneto, just a stone's throw from cities of great charm such as Venice, Cortina and Verona. In this geographical context, the family winery Vini Tonon, nestled in the rolling hills in the heart of the Prosecco region of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, has positioned itself as one of the leading producers. Vittorio Veneto is a lively centre created in the last century by the merger of the towns of Ceneda and Serravalle. After having been under Roman, Longobard and Count-Bishop rule, these two towns came under the influence of the Republic of Venice. They then came under Austrian rule and in 1844 were united into a single city, which on September 27, 1866, first took the name "Vittorio" in honour of King Vittorio Emanuele II and later, in 1923, adopted the name "Vittorio Veneto". Here took place the battle that ended the First World War on the Italian front.

The winery was founded in 1936 by Pietro Tonon, and the Tonon family has passed on his techniques for a good three generations. The name Camúl comes from a small piece of land in the hills of Carpesica, not far from Vittorio Veneto (in the province of Treviso), where the original family grew the best of their wine production since the early 1900s. The winery has managed to maintain the excellent quality levels of the past while continuously evolving through the improvement of production techniques and the resulting new and pleasant taste sensations.

Today, Camúl's wines, refined with a modern touch by Loris Tonon and his staff, still embody the company's excellence while creating a fine niche wine.
The company is part of the Consortium for the Protection of Prosecco di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene D.O.C.G..
