Cantina Cellaro Micina Nerello Mascalese IGT 2017
Italy’s southernmost region and the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Sicily’s warm, dry climate, constant sunshine, moderate rainfall, coastal breezes, and mineral-rich dark soil allows for almost any kind of grape to grow, making it the most biodiverse wine region in Italy. The region is best-known for Marsala and Terre Siciliane IGT wines.
Ruby red color, deep and impenetrable. It is an explosion of aromas of red fruit and ripe blackberry, oriental spices, pink pepper and leather well integrated with each other. In the mouth, it is warm, powerful and pleasantly persistent; the well-expressed tannins are perfectly balanced with the natural residual sugar and freshness, so as to make the sip fascinating.
